Warranty
Every Williams unit carries a 5-year warranty on the compressor and 3 years on the indoor unit as standard. Registered automatically when you buy from us.
What is covered
- Compressor and sealed refrigerant circuit: 5 years
- Indoor unit and remaining parts: 3 years (36 months)
- Labour is included on units we installed ourselves
- Genuine Williams spare parts, shipped from our own Surrey warehouse
Conditions
The unit must have been installed and commissioned by an F-Gas registered engineer, and the commissioning certificate must exist. This is a legal requirement as much as ours.
Annual servicing is required to keep the warranty valid. Keep the invoices — that is all we ask for.
The warranty does not cover blocked filters, damage from flood, lightning or vandalism, or units that have been run outside their published operating range.
Making a claim
Call us with your details. In most cases we can diagnose over the phone from the error code on the indoor display, and the part ships the same day from the same warehouse your unit came from.
If the unit was installed by us, we book an engineer. If it was installed by someone else, we supply the part free and your installer fits it.
